Events and Information
 

Below is a list of the competitions we are planning to attend this summer.
"Tent." indicates that an event is tentative.

Additional details will be sent out as soon as they become available. If you would like to know if you (or your child) are eligible to attend, please talk to one of the coaches. Everyone will be expected to participate in the Minnesota State Meet at the end of July.

February 23-24 Minneapolis, MN
    Twin City Diver Invitational I
  • This meet is required for all TCD divers, there will be a sign up sheet at the pool for divers to indicate there if they can or cannot attend the meet before February 18.
  • Divers will compete on both Saturday and Sunday.
  • TCD Members are required to volunteer and run this meet. Click here for opportunities and descriptions.
  • On Saturday February 23 please arrive at the pool no later than 8am for Meet Registration.
  • TCD Coaches will help divers prepare there sheets prior to February 23.
March 29-30 2008 Ames, IA
    Junior Spring Region 5 Championships
  • This meet is required for all TCD divers, there will be a sign up sheet at the pool for divers to indicate if they can or cannot attend the meet, please do this before February 22.
  • Divers are required to have chaperones; divers are responsible for getting rides to and from Ames, and to and from the hotel to the pool.
  • Divers are required to offset the cost of coach's travel, the larger the travel party the more the cost is spread out. Well will also make t-shirt for our Spring Regional Diving Team, the cost of this shirt will be included in travel fees.
  • Divers need to arrive at the Pool in Ames Iowa no later than 4pm on Friday, March 28.
  • We will practice from 5-7pm on Friday, March 28; there will not be an alternate practice if you cannot attend this one.
  • Coach(s) will be leave at 12pm on Friday March 28 and will be staying at the Comfort Inn ($80/Night), if you would like to stay there you can make reservations though THS Co. call 888-536-TEAM or visit www.ths-usad.com. You can also visit www.visitames.com to find another hotel.
  • Top 8 Divers from each event will qualify for the Spring Junior West Championships in Columbia, MO April 25-27.

    Spring Junior West National Championships
  • This meet is only available to the top 8 divers from each event at the Spring Region 5 Championships.
  • Divers are required to have chaperones; divers are responsible for getting rides to and from Columbia, and to and from the hotel to the pool.
  • Divers are required to offset the cost of coach's travel, the larger the travel party the more the cost is spread out.
  • Coaches will depart for Columbia MO on April 24th and are staying at Regency Downtown ($59.95/Night) 573-443-2090; we have blocked 7 rooms and have confirmation numbers for qualified divers.
May 24-25, 2008 Minneapolis, MN

    2008 Summer Junior Region 6 Championships
  • This meet is required for all TCD divers, there will be a sign up sheet at the pool for divers to indicate there if they can or cannot attend the meet before May 23.
  • We are hosting this meet, in doing so we are keeping your financial obligations to a minimum. TCD Members are required to volunteer and run this meet. Click here for opportunities and descriptions.

  • Top 15 Divers from each event will qualify for the Summer Junior Zone C Championships in Columbia, MO July 11-13.
